家庭で余った食品などを募り、必要とする人たちに配る取り組み「フードドライブｉｎ北播磨」で、９～１１月、北播磨各地から計４２０４キロの物品が寄せられた。北播磨県民局と管内市町が協力して呼びかけ、市民らが野菜や缶詰、日用品などを寄付。水田の多い土地柄を反映し、米の寄付が最も多かったという。（岩崎昂志）
